Event + Response = Outcome
Sometimes, bad things happen in life and there's nothing we can do about it. Or at least that how we may feel, helpless.
The one thing we're ALWAYS in control of is our RESPONSE.
How we respond to adversity, how we respond to pain, setback, doubt, and fear.
Our response is the only factor our of that whole equation that we can take 100% accountability for. We can't control the event, nor can we control the outcome.
But we can choose how we respond. That may not change the OUTCOME a whole lot, but it can help. We can't change the event, but we can choose our response and hope to influence the outcome.
When we start to see the bigger pictures in life, and apply this formula, our perceptions change. We'll have more peace, knowing we did everything in our power to drive towards our desired results. Win or lose, we'll know that we controlled the controllable and let the rest sort itself out.
We've removed the "victim" mentality and replaced it with a VICTOR mindset.
You'll remember that life is all about perspective.
Because our perceptions, creates our REALITIES.
